The Beautiful Game is something that everyone can enjoy. Don't worry about your football skill level, as we don't have to take it too seriously, especially as it's the first time. It'll be good opportunity to get a group of people together from different branches, languages and departments of Modulo to socialise, have some fun and let off some steam. Beginners are welcome. Professionals can only use their weaker foot to shoot ;-).
Polo Football Park is located not far from Ploen Chit / Nana BTS stations but please be aware that it could be a 20-min walk. They have 4 pitches and I have booked 1 pitch for 1 hour. If we have enough early interest, there is the potential for us to book an extra 30 minutes, since the 8:00-8:30 slot is currently available.
The facilities include: Referee, football, boots and glove rental, changing rooms with showers, towel rental, lockers, food and beverages.
We need at least 10 players in order to have 2 teams of 5. However, more players would be ideal, so we can have mini games of 10 mins with the winning team staying on the field. We can also have rolling substitutions if we have odd numbers and people feel a bit tired. If we have 20 players then we could have a 4-team knock out tournament.
Teams will be made at random so hopefully they are fairly balanced. Feel free to invite friends, boyfriends and girlfriends along to play.
Please send a direct message to Alex S to confirm your interest. Once we have at least 10 players I will create a Line group and we can confirm if the event will go ahead. It is of course dependent on numbers, so please don't cancel if it means there will be fewer than 10 players.
